I'm due to graduate this spring with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Forensics.
The big question on everyone's mind (doctor, workman's comp, school, myself) is "Will anyone be willing to hire someone that has to take narcotics in order to walk?"
I start back to class on Jan 14th and i am REALLY pushing myself this time. I took FOUR classes instead of three! I'm way behind due to medication malfunctions and other complication forcing me to drop classes. I was supposed to have graduated this past fall. Workman's comp has been very patient and I have a wonderful case worker, but their patience is NOT unlimited. I can't expect them to pay me for the rest of my life. So it's either get a job, or go on disability.
So starting Jan 14th, I have to prove to myself, and everyone else...CAN I put in an 8 hour day 4 days a week? (There's no classes on Fri or Sat)
So 2009 is the year we will see an answer to the biggest question:
Will I succeed...or end up flat on my back???
I wish you all the best in the coming year!
