Keep us updated,
For what it may be worth, my fibro started (or right before the back pains that led to fibro) with recurrent bladder infections and with stabbing pain in the lower abdomen. Medical labels for pain down there are interstitial cystitis (urinary) and vulvodynia (vagina/uterus). The pains went away on Cymbalta and the infections have gone away (mostly) with low dose naltrexone (3.0 mg), which boosts the immune system
The reason why we get more infections is because we are in pain, being in pain, our bodies call out its "army" to fight a physical injury. In other words, it generates inflammatory agents to "heal" the injury. With all attention at trying to heal a physical injury, the body is not "looking" at defending itself from bacteria. This is my simplistic understanding of what I have read.
Hang in there. Hoping the GYNO is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Don't dwell on the cancer thing they will not know what you have until they look inside. I had the same symptoms for years and like you I had endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts which caused the same symptoms as you have. I only knew I had fibroids and cysts that's about all they can see from the outside.
I had a hysterectomy. I hope you feel better soon..
