Definitely!
It is very emotionally overwhelming and exhausting emotionally and physically when living with pain. Cry and let it all out.
Scream if you have to and punch a pillow too! Do what you need to do to release your emotions. You are not alone.
This is a very challenging and difficult journey. I so understand how you feel. I hope you have someone that you can talk to and they will be there for you. Crying is healthy. It releases the toxins. Listen to your body. If you need to rest then rest. If you feel like crying then cry. Be gentle with yourself. (((HUGS)))
I agree with everything you just wrote. You said that so well.
When I cry I end up with a horrible Migraine too.
Doesn't this just all suck? I am so miserable.
I guess that now that it is almost 2 AM I should at least try to close my eyes. I don't call it sleep anymore because I do not sleep. I doze for a few minutes and then I am awake. That is a whole issue in itself. I have no clue what sleep even is anymore.
When people talk about sleeping I don't even know what that is like. As tired as I am and I am so fatigued and my pain is so high I still cannot sleep. How insane is that?
Hugs to you!! I sent you a message earlier. Hope you got it. Hugs!
Cry it out, rehydrate, and cry more if that's what's needed. Cry yourself to sleep if that's what happens, it's just the way leanring to cope and having pain works for most of us. Speaking as someone with two chronic pain conditions (FM and injury scarring), at least, that's my take.
Blessings and peace.
This whole thing is just so sad, this chronic pain. Then if you have anything else causing stress in your life, you're very likely to lose it. I've got so many issues going on right now, I can't keep track. So, yes, I cry a LOT!!
Here is a big soft warm hug for you.
Blessings and a soft, gentle hug to you all !! PJ
I have burst of inappropriate anger.
I find I am worst when I allow fibro to run my life or when I am having a bad flare.
When I am able to keep a balance with living with fibro and having a life (which is no easy task) my emotions stay in check more. My sadness is less and my anxiety doesn't take over.
I get anxiety about flare ups, about my wacky emotions about life 10 years from now.
I have heard the slogan "one day at a time" and I find it helps with fibro. I just signed up for a healthy living seminar again to give me a refresher on how to be proactive with my health and my life. The last time I went to the 6 week seminar it did worlds of good so I am hoping this time it will help me cope again and regain some of what fibro steals from us.
It helps to remind ourselves of our accomplishments that may be small to a well person but are mamoth to us.
