I don't get electric shocks, but I get spasms in my neck that make me turn my neck often.
Sometimes when I wake up my whole body feels like it vibrating/trembling but lasts for just a short time.
It's one of my most frighting symptoms.
Are you by any chance taking neurontin (gabapentin)? I'm always searching for answers.
I also get what you described mainly in my toros area. At first I thought it was blood pressure, then heart and nothing synched up. I was left with just this sensation when at complete rest or just before I was waking up in the morning. All other times my body is in some kind of motion.
It feels like an electrical currant. Yes, I've been electrocuted before (a couple of times). And the pulse that runs through you is similar to what I experience but on a really soft and mild sensation. Phones vibrate too intensely to match in my circumstances.
I believe this is nerves. It's the only thing that makes any logic.
I'm not coming off any antidepressants. It just seems to be more consistent as is the fibro flaring. It's been a tough summer.
I also feel like I have bugs crawling all over me. Very unsettling.
I also get the feeling of crawling bugs. Drives me insane!
