You could try putting pillows under your knees to help relieve the pressure on your lower back and hips. Heat pads help too for muscle pain and spasms. You'll probably get a lot more advice and tips on the main boards, try it and see.
If you can't get referred, call the hospital and see how you can get seen. Supposedly, they can't turn you away if you just show up in the emergency room; however, I don't know how they charge.

No, No teaching hospitals/schools or anything that I know of near by. The closest thing they have at the college here is the dental program :/
There are alot of things that mimic fibro. Hope you can get back get a complete bloodpanel work done by a neurologist or rheumy, seem they run different test then a reg dr runs.
My vitamin D is below 10 right now, maybe even in the negative. They have given me higher and higher doses to take every day, but i'm not absorbing it for some reason. I know celiacs disease would cause absorption problems but I was tested for that aswell and it was negative. My doctors have said that my symptoms are too severe to be vitamin D related entirely so i dont know :|
