Okay, now I have two questions to ask. The first one is do my symptoms sound like FM to you guys, and if so do you all have as many symptoms/aliment as I do? The second ,and I have seen a few different response to this question online. Because of my clumsiness/ staggering/ off balance I was falling a lot, and was getting hurt. So my doctor thought it best for me to be in a wheelchair are any of you in a wheelchair or have you heard of any other Fibromyalgia patients in wheelchair?
Thank you for any information

My cat is going on trial for crimes against skink-anity. SIX in six weeks. Three this last week alone. The crack is maybe 1/4 inche wide. Maybe. Skink skitters past, her paw shoots out, her claw hooks in, she yanks, and somehow, having defied physics... WHAM. Skink-o-rama.Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice that she's a pesticidal maniac, but OMG. Skinks do no harm. They don't come inside. WTF.So,...

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. It would be helpful to know what kind of doctors you are seeing that aarrived at your diagnosis (or not).
I think that you should get your medical records together and see a functional medicine specialist. They are also called integrative physicians. They usually take insurance. You can find one in your metro area using Google. They are MDs with a strong interest in holistic medicine. I find that they have a much keener overview of a patient's situation and also far better testing than a traditional MD. I got some of my best help from one.
I have a cane, rolling walker and a wheelchair. My fashion statement changes depending on my mobility issues from day to day. I would rather be safe than take a bad fall. Do I care what other people think about that - no. I also have a permanent handicap sticker for my car.
You might want to think about ordering the book "Fibromyalgia for Dummies." It will give you a comprehensive overview of the complex illness. You can find it online at Amazon. There are a long list of health issues that go along with a diagnosis of FIbromyalgia. Knowledge is power.
Good luck to you, welcome to the board and take care.
My advice - keep pursuing a diagnosis. There is a possibility that at least some of your symptoms are attributable to something more treatable.
