got pulled over by the popo

I went to the gas station to get some bottle waters - I have been sick and drinking more water than usual and the city water taste and smell was getting to me. So, I am driving along paying close attention to my driving because I am ill and the usual fibro fog and I got pulled over. I was thinking WTH - I am not doing anything wrong. So the cop comes up to my door and told me he pulled me over because I was driving to slow. He said I wasn't swerving but he had to ask if I was drinking - I couldn't help but laugh because I don't drink and told him so . He asked for my drivers license and I couldn't find it - then I was starting to feel like a big space cadet. I did have my registration and proof of insurance handy quickly. Anyhow, he let me go without any tickets and said he hoped I could find my drivers license . I was rattled. I didn't even realize I was driving 20 under the speed limit. There was no traffic - it was 12:30 AM . Now I am going to stick with the nasty city water unless someone else drives to get the water . I feel like an idiot.

lol, Got a chuckle from that and thought maybe it should be against the law for people to drive under the influence of Fibro brain fog. Well, you are not an idiot, could happen to any of us. I hope the fog clears up and you feel better soon. Take care.

Milily, my mom has the most anti-speeding tickets in *history*. She regularly is stopped for going "under" the limit---- she was once doing 40 on an interstate without her blinkers--- adn doing 15 in a 40 zone--- happens to people all the time. You get tired or stressed or sick and it's normal....

Beats the time my epeilpsy med knocked me out at the wheel and I woke up four lanes over wondering why and when and how I got on the exit ramp. Still attribute that one to my guardian angel doing overtime.

I got in a car accident partly "because" of my new fibro meds I was on....hydrocodone 10mg , gabapentin 3 pills 3 x day, HELLO, no driving for me after that.
Hey, I put a PUR water filter on my faucet. Ahhhh, no more city water and all for $25. See if it will fit your kitchen faucet. City water is no good for us I think. I've gotten sick from it :((

Seriously though....I hate city water too and I'm a self proclaimed water snob. We have a filter system.
Otherwise I'm drinking spring water. And I don't fall too far from the tree because both my Mom and sister get bottled water (cases) delivered to their door.

At what is is $3/$4 / case...it's so worth it!
I like to stock up when we head out to upper Wisconsin. They have some of the best spring water up there!

It is nice to know that others have the same city water issues. Many, many yrs ago when our 5th child was born, we had to get bottled water for her to drink and to mix with her formula because she won't drink the city water.
