Thanks,
Thankfully, after trying Cymbalta and pain meds (none of them worked), I began trying more natural approaches. It's funny that I've settled on the exact vitamins and supplements that was recommended in the article. I think that magnesium, a quality B-complex and D3 are best building blocks. I've taken others over the years and still take a couple of extra ones but those 3 are very helpful.
Again, great info. You should repost this under a different topic name so other "old hats" will want to read it too.
It's taken me all day to read the What Primary Care Physicians Should Know....
A lot to think about!
I have often thought because of my fog that it would somehow lead to dementia. Now they say early dementia! The article did not say if the treatment could lessen this effect.
I've got a lot to talk to my rheumatologist about at me next appointment the end of Nov. I've been waiting 3 months since I called with problems and asked for an appointment this was the first available.
Off topic my area needs more rheumatologists or Primary Care Docs that can and will medically manage fibro.
Emily 710 thanks for the website!
AGEluv, I am so sorry that your experience with medications has not been good. I have had wonderful results with a low dose of naltrexone; 3 months at 1.5 mg IN THE MORNING, and 3.0 mg after the three months. Maybe that is something you haven't tried.
