Rest Often, Hydrate Well...Move around some...Belly Breath...not TO Long with a Heat source at any one time...{Like a heating Pad, in a hot bath}....no more then 15-20 minutes at a time..
Most of my Flares are Fairly Short...my Last Long term one was Fall 2008...I have learned my Lesson well...
Pace urself...no matter what...Stop activity BEFORE Pain & Fatigue set in Always...No Excuses, No Explanations, NO Guilt....Simply Stop...You will be better in the Long run...
I Do Hope you are Feeling Better Soon !
Even without a flare, tho, I still have some pain every day...either a headache or shoulder pain, even on best days.
Feel better soon, and HUGS from down south :)
My worst flare is going on a year and 3 months. I believe this one was brought on by Lyrica. I wish I'd never taken that. 10 months of wellness wasn't worth this.
I hope you feel better soon!
Pain never stops, it is like a roller coaster. Some days you can pretend it is not there until someone touches you. Arthritis has set in on top of it now. People seem more understanding for the Arthritis versus Fibro.
Who cares anymore. Most of the time I don't. Sometimes I wish I had a visible deformity to say, I am really SICK!!!!
Family has the hardest time coping when flare up last too long. I now only consider it a flare up, when I have to take extra pain medicine just to be able to rest.
New to this site, hope it helps me not feel so isolated.
