There are many websites where you can find names of doctors that treat fibro. The problem with these type of sites is you dont know how the lists are compiled.
Some are just phone book listings of Rheumatologists.On other sites the Doctors send in their own names, which can be good in that they are willing to treat fibro, but who knows what the patients think of them?
Do they listen? do they prescribe meds? do they take time? or are they just trying to get lots of patients?
If you are looking for a patient recommended doctor in your area, there is a very special lady who, for the past 17 years has built up a data base of PATIENT RECOMMENDED doctors all over the world. A doctor cannot request to be on her list.. he/she must be put there by a satisfied patient.

I have a post with 5 more sites up in the "Treatments" section of Drs that treat FMS.
Yes I saw that post..and it has some good and bad sites in it..the problem is with any of those sites you dont know how they make their list...Often any doctor can just say he practices fibro...some PAY to get on those lists..
Others lists just gather up names and some of those doctors do not even accept new patients or even practice any more..and you have no way of knowing how they treat the patient and how they approach fibro till you get there..
I like betsys way of doing it because she will find you a doctor in your area that another fibro patient told her was GOOD and hers is the ONLY list that does it that way...
And she DOES NOT CHARGE for her service...
