Peace and Love Fibro Friend!!!
Does anyone else have spouses that just don't understand fibro and what we go thru.
I try to see the humor in it when I can. I do things like, load the washer and forget to run it or heat something in the mike and forget about it...it's crazy!
Put everything into your cell phone dates to remember, notes, names numbers when you first know of them. Then on your calendar and make sure to write down your cell phone number on your calender as well, if it is activated in case you misplace it you can call it to find it.
Countr That is great advice! I do that now as i have in the past left the burner on and forgot about it but the fire alarm let me know that time.
Jenalone that is good idea too. make a list or notes of important numbers, meds , names and instructions and pin it to your calendar as well
Have a place for things you need most, ie wallet, keys cell phone etc. and insure you and anyone else puts them back when done
so you will always know where to find them.
I know it's hard to stay focused even doing simple chores try to do one thing at a time.
Hugs
I've always been the sticky-note queen (esp when I still worked).
I have been keeping a notebook too & a calender is a must!!!
The most irritating thing, tho, is forgetting things. I know I am being rude sometimes when I interrupt ppl, but if I don't say what I am thinking WHEN I am thinking it...it's gone! In the bat of an eye!
I try to explain to ppl but very few ppl understand fibro at all. It's no wonder that I only socialize with my family & online!
