I have had m.e for 11 yrs and i am used to all my symptoms. The last 6 weeks i have been aching all over like when you are getting flu, shoulder/back/hip pain, headaches, feeling hot and clammy for no reason, my right arm keeps feeling weak/tingly/prickly/cold and numb feelings, my fingers on right hand keep cramping together for a few seconds, joints aching/burning, fatigue and generally feel unwell.
My gp mentioned fibro a few yrs ago when i was aching all over but it seemed to go but know i have all these other new symptoms. Can anyone realate to any of theses and do they sound like fibro?
I am seeing my doctor later today and i am going to ask for bloods done an referred to a rheumatologist.

Sounds like your m.e. and perimenopause . Look up menopause there 35 symptoms. Let your dr run the test . Good luck.

ME as in CFS? There are so many varied symptoms with FM and not everyone shares the same. My muscles feel weak and and my extremities often will go numb. I also get aching/burning. But I don't go cramping in my fingers.

Non of your symptoms sound like menopause to me except hot and clammy. Hot and cold can also be symptoms of ME/CFS or FM.

I agree, not everything is perimenopause or menopause. Being male and my life has paused, I most likely have MANO-PAUSE.

I've had hot flashes, cold flashes, flashes, you name name it, i've felt it.
I blame it all on my mother... and father for giving me such lousy genes. Despite all, I go on.

Somebody here recently gave a great analogy of fibro...
