I am tired of my husbands insults, when I don't deserve them. It is the things like, just this morning, before he went to an auction for fun. He says " on the news it talked about why the news van was by the school we saw last night". I mentioned I didn't see it, I was driving. He said " I would have told you but you were running that big mouth."crazy part I wasn't talking at all. I had been quite all day from an earlier insult he threw at me.
No one deserves to be insulted anyway. I have dealt with fibro forever it seems. I do all I can do and do for him and family but not appreciated by him. I can't even get him to put biofreeze on my back, because he doesn't like it on his hands.
Years, ago I realized he was selfish not tight. He spends his money on what he wants. When I did fix up the house, it was with money I received after my dad passed away. The house needs the hallway painted etc. I can't do it, I know better then to try. He knows it but he won't spend his money to hire someone. I try yo explain we need to keep the house maintained but it just brushes it off, not going to spend his money on his house. His dad was the same way and when his dad passed away, his mom fixed her house up and traveled.
I wish I felt better, I wish I could do what other can do without handicaps.
I don't have any friends to talk to, not anymore. I tried talking to my friend, lives in a different state, but she brushed me off. Yet, I listened to her for hours before she got a divorce twenty years ago. I have known here for over 50 years, guess she's the type what I can only do for her.
I know I am ranting. I know women who have girlfriends and they travel and do things together because their husbands won't do anything with them. They don't deal with chronic pain, but going somewhere just talking for fun sure relieves stress.
I have gained a lot of weight after my hysterectomy and try losing then gain it back.
i cannot do all those exercises and I can walk but soon my body says enough.
There are many days I try to start a conversation and he acts like he doesn't hear me, so I say " did you hear me.". His response " yea, what you want me to say."
Yesterday, we went out to eat and no talking so I asked what he was going to order.
He said I was interrogating him. I said " no just making conversation." That is why I knew I wasn't talking on the way home.
There is so much more, like his class reunion where I stood there and people were introducing their partner, not my husband. I asked why he didn't introduce me, his response " thought you knew everyone". I just looked at him, thinking if he didn't know their spouses I wouldn't either, let alone them. I think he was just embarrassed and didn't want anyone to know he was married to me.
i bounced around enough but that is how my life feels.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

You are right, I don't feel well, I don't know anyone with fibro that does feel well. We just fake a lot and push on because we never will be over it, just get worse,
I will pray for you. No one should live like this. Hugs
Sending prayers your way.
Gives me no credit for busting my @ss all day to the point of pain consuming me. And then he'll contribute like one thing and take all the credit and put me down saying, "I did all the work on this while you sat on your *ss all day."
Yes, I have thought about divorce. I've left the house thinking of staying at a hotel and drove around town in search of a divorce lawyer 2 times this year... but each time I talked myself out of it and either went to a friends to cool off or went home and just sucked it up.
I have some friends but not *close* friends. Not close enough that I can open up about my chronic pain and marital problems. They all think we have a great marriage and my husband is an awesome guy (constantly tell me how lucky I am). The one friend I tried to vaguely say something to, I got lectured to death about how bad a wife I am for "running away". Even told me I need to learn to be more patient and loving, listen to your husband, and on and on. G*d, I was sick to my stomach. I wrote her a letter and we aren't friends anymore. So, I've learned to never say anything again. People are super judgmental when they don't know / understand what you're going through.
It isn't right to be treated this way by someone who swore to love and protect you in sickness and in health. I feel like I got jipped. My husband feels like he didn't sign up for this either so I guess he feels he has a right to snap at me all he wants. So, I don't know if that's how your husband feels too and why he mistreats you. Have you ever tried asking him?
Sometimes I wonder if I should go live with a relative for a while and see if that helps wake him up to his behavior. But I have my mom to look after (who lives here) so I'm pretty stuck. If we were to separate, he'd be the one to move out and I already know he's not up for that. He's too prideful plus can't manage his money. Have you thought of going to stay with someone? Just to get a break?
