Interesting theories but with such a small study group, any changes could be due to the Hawthorne effect rather than due to the filters. It's much to small a sample to draw any serious conclusions. Wonder if any further studies have been done?

WOW! This is an incredible article. It was some years ago that I read somewhere (to the best of my ability to remember) of a possible correlation between higher cancer rates for people who live very near or at high tension cross country power lines verses those who dont.

Yes, I do believe there are many things we are suffering because of Modern Living that many in times past didnt. However, they suffered too. For the most part they had much shorter live spans than we do who live in the developed areas of the world. There were times in the past were if you were hurt in an accident, you would most likely die where as nowadays the medical profession can pull you through the same problem without much trouble at all.

It seems to me that for every advance there is a corresponding regress, some how, some way.

Graham/Stetzer filters( filters are capacitors that reduce the amplitude of harmonics and transients on indoor wiring) So where can er get these I'd put them in my home and be part of a group study, lets see one with diabetes, two ADD/ADHD and panic disorder, and me two many things to list...I have a house full..I alway thought that my street has a issue as on one side of me two of the homes owners got MS and the house on the other side has a daughter with MS...dirty Electricity hey you never know. My sister in law had leukemia she grew up in a double house, with her Aunt and Uncle living downstairs. Her father and mother married both brother and sisters and her cousin also got leukemia, her cousin was more like a sister due to the father. mother/aunt/uncle relationship.

My sister in-law lived after a bone morrow transplant from her brothers.Her Cousin did not have a match and did not live.
I alway thought it odd that this very close family tie living under the same roof and both getting leukemia was strangly odd. I wonder how much of their illness and the MS cluster on my street has to do with this Dirty Electricity?

But if putting filters on can give us any relief even if its a sugar pill effect I'd do it. Where can I sign up and out me on the list...looks like another reason to go acroos the lake to Camada....

You can be so funny sueBee. I enjoy it. I dont' think they're studying it anymore. Well, some individual scientists are, but it's pretty much a known fact, now. I'd like to have someone come out and do the measuring. We live in an old house, with questionable wiring... and very near to towers. etc. ugh
