You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
My husband had a sleep study done and because he only has mild sleep apnea, the insurance would not cover the cost of it. He has chronic and extreme snoring and a mild deviated septum. He seems to sleep well.
Because of my Fibromyalgia, and sleep being so important, I sleep in the guest bedroom since he keeps me awake on and off all night. I am also a very light sleeper.
He has tried everything but the CPAP, even as far as having palatopharnygoplasty surgery (helps to open the airways), which has a 50/50 chance of helping, and it did not in his case.
I just wonder since I am such a light sleeper, if the CPAP machine would still keep me awake. We want so much to be able to sleep together in the same bed again and not just visit each other!
I am so glad to see it is helping your husband and to see your support for him.
