CTS/Double crush syndrome?

Does anyone here have Carpal tunnel syndrome or Double crush syndrome?I have been having terrible pain in my left arm(muscles,elbow hand and fingers.I also get numbness in my index and ring fingers,mostly at night during sleep or when propping up on my elbow.I also have shoulder pain on the left side.I also have neck pain.Can anyone give me some advise?Thanks,JC

JC I'm not a Doc but sounds like you have pinched a nerve. tryy resting your left arm and do what you do with your lrft with your right arm. I have had simular problem for a while had to use the other arm to give my left a break. Hope It might Help. Some other here may have more knowledge about this subject . keep plugging in and asking questions

You just decribed what I am going through with my left arm and shoulder. When I have to cough, it feels like a knife stabbing me in my left shoudler. I went to the doctor, and he gave me muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory. I know it is a ipnched nerve somewhere under my shoulder blade and I did it at work. I take care of an elderly couple and I always have to help them stand up, alot of pulling. Doctor told me to rest it as much as possible, but that can't happen, due to my job. So I take the meds and use the heating pad when I get home. Hope yours gets better. You may need to go to doctor and get muscle relaxers. Good luck....Laura

The doctors told me I had Carpal Tunnel and Tarsal Tunnel when I was having those symptoms. Since I needed to walk I went ahead and had the Tarsal Tunnel surgery.

The surgery didn't help at all. I don't think it is true Carpal and Tarsal. I think it's just symptoms of FM but the doctors don't like that and so they call it the other.

When my wrist pain became unbearable I wore splints for a few months to keep from bending it and making it more painful. After a few months the pain just disappeared from there and moved on to someplace else.

Sometimes now my shoulders will freeze up and that will last a few months and then its gone.
