has anyone been to the Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion?
I told my rheumatologist I wanted a 2nd opinion and he suggested the Mayo clinic which is to far for me, then he suggested the Cleveland Clinic which is 3 hours away. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations?

Yay, Cleveland. I'm a Clevelander.
The Clinic is extremely well regarded. My fibro care up to this point has been through University Hospitals, but I'm really interested in the program that I linked. I had a friend go through it. It's really intensive and may not be for you--several weeks of treatment from 7AM to 5PM or so. But it really helps because doctors monitor your medications daily, and you learn all kinds of coping strategy.
I'll look further into what fibro patients have to say about general treatment, but the Clinic is one of the greatest assets Cleveland has, and I would have to say it's worth one 3 hour drive for an initial consultation if nothing else.
