Just wondering ... every so often one of you says you're the only one, but there are a number of you that say that, so let's have a hand up if you're out there reading this and you're a guy.

We're in this together, we 'get it' and we share a lot of the same kinds of frustrations and misplaced guilts with this illness.

stand up and be counted! lol You matter.

I show all signs of fibro my docs are useless except to make me in less pain without being loopy. I am a guy and I believe I have fibro

Hi all
I am new here and i am a male.Found out that i had fibro about 1yr a go. I have been through a lot in the past 4 yrs. with the pain,anxiety,and the confusion of hearing people say that fibro is not real.I hope to clear up some of this confusion here in this group.

Narey - you know me, 1sugarbear as we both belong to the CFF sub group. Yes, males do get fibro - my problems started back in 1982 but the diagnosis did not come until 1994 so I know all about it. However, the % of males that are diagnosed with it are far less than the % for females. Read those % one time but don't recall them actually so I will not turn a # at you now.

Regardless of whether you are male or female, it all hurts the pain is still the same for all of us. Best wishes.

Yeah, 1sugarbear, that's kind of what drew me to post this topic... you had made a comment that you were theonly guy on that group. I am wanting to get the guys tocome out of the woodwork. Join in the discussions and post topics, because yes, the percentage is not comparable, but we are all unique human beings with thsi lousy painful illness and we are here to give and receive support.

I hoped to get you guys posting together and not feeling like you're the only male on here...
