MRI's came back with tears in tendons of both hips, busitis of hips and gluteal tendinopathy and bursitis of shoulders. There goes the walking exercise. I have in past also had plantar fasciitis (a similar condition in foot) does any one know if these are just part and parcel of fibro or am i on the medical merry go round again?

Went through a bunch of painful nerve tests to get that diagnosis. Had the surgery done out of desperation for pain relief and it didn't help one iota. So I don't believe that is what is was at all. I think the doctors just have to put a name on it because they don't know what to do with us otherwise.
I have also had a problem with the bursitis since I've been ill with FM. That is when you get that sack of fluid and it is terribly painful.
I'm sorry you have this new set of problems. The list of symptoms for FM seems never ending.
I walk and swim..the key is in finding the right balance, Stopping before everything gets to painful..Took a bit but I have found my balance..especially with the plantar fascitis..hurts SO bad to first step onto the Floor...but within a few Painful steps it starts to back Off...and making sure to walk Straight is SO Important...otherwise it will throw everything off, and you will have Serious Pain and is a Real FIGHT to get back Under Control..
swimming is super easy on the Joints !! YeaY !! just walking around in the water is GREAT !!
I do Not have Bursitis, my Sister has that...and she suffers a bit more then I do..yet she works her Mail route everynight...works at a store everyday..like she says...ya gotta do whatchya gotta do !!
I've declined to have several surgeries but that's just me. My doctors ask me about them every so often in case I change my mind.

Some doctors will take you more seriously now that they have physical evidence that something is wrong.

Also not allowed to walk now due to tears in tendins but must swim.
