Rough weeks. My very old father died and for the last 9 years, I was kind of slow-fuming about being left out of his trust (with my siblings) in favor of his second wife, who, shall we say, orchestrated that maneuver.
On top of some mourning, there was the stress of going to see a lawyer for closure on the matter. There is no basis of suing. Kind of a relief, actually.
My fibro has been through the roof---arm,neck, upper back tightness from hell. I think I need to give up my beloved coffee---I can feel the effect after I drink a cup and it ain't pretty. Medical marijuana helpful but need to buy a vaporizor pen because I can't be smoking--it's harmful.
I also feel abandoned by family & friends (the few I have). My sister isn't answering my emails, my son who periodically imposes months-long silences (he is the father of my grandchildren--I don't get to see them either and tend to worry if I ever would) hasn't called me back, my so-called friend has been openly hostile toward me (or I just noticed), etc.etc. Oh, and another friend (a spiritual one) emailed me that maybe I should examine my feelings of greed (my father's trust).
Could be I just have a negative take on the world right now. I know I'll sort it out but I feel I can open up here to you guys. Thanks for listening.

Come here whenever you need to vent. We are here for you. It is so hard when we are in pain and feel lonely. I hold you gently in my arms and heart.

Not trying to make this about me - just saying I kind of get it. In my case it was one last chance to remind me I was not "his." No greed attached - I would probably have given his money to my children if he'd left it to me - but yes it stings to be treated that way.

I was curious about whether medical marijuana would be helpful for fm. I had no idea you could use it through a vaporizer! Do you know a link with more info on that? My state is starting to consider MM as a possibility finally.

Medical marijuana---when the herb is boiled it is vaped, as they say. High CBD strains have been the only drug that helps me with extreme muscle spasms. I live in California and have a mm card. However, some of the other good components of the CBD flowers will not vape (vaporize) at the temperatures that machines produce. So, unfortunately, smoking or eating or using tinctures might be better.
Yes, I think the process of taking in the disinheritance is a slow one and not an instant fix. My son, who periodically disinherits me from seeing my grandchildren--for what reasons, I have yet to really know---perhaps it's because I'm a living, breathing person who tries to be helpful (yes, that means that I talk occasionally; but am never demanding). Aye, family=prime cause of mental illness, I'll remember that. Somehow I thought with my own children, that would be different...
