hey y'all... i'm still around and alive. sorry a haven't been on here much, i've been sick.
Monday is my usual VA day... so i went there (last week) to see my PCM at 8:40 AM! that's the earliest i've had to get up in years! anyways, usually i go to my chronic pain management at 11 on Mondays, but my back pain was so horrendous that after my early appt, i had Matthew take me home. did i mention that i had a random urine test (for infection)? well hrs after i got home, my doc called me back and said that i had to come all the way back and check back in with her because it showed a very bad infection. she said it may be why i was having such severe back pain (kidney). so i check back in and get the antibiotic yada yada.....
the rest of the day i stayed in bed... feeling like absolute shit. i mean my muscles have been feeling like there's hot mud running thru em. and they don't wanna work in anyway. i felt like this all week, so pretty much have stayed in bed for the most of it. then Friday my doc calls me again and says that the antibiotic that was prescribed is the wrong one, cuz she got the results back from the lab what kind of strand of bacteria it is. so i had to come all the way back and get a whole new prescription of antibiotics.
i got there and check back in.... gee, the new med is the BIGGEST HORSE pills i have ever seen!! sheesh!
anyways... i was tired of being in the house this weekend so my man took me to the mall to find some cd's and a book. of course i didn't last very long.... but at least on Sunday i got to watch Transformers-Rise of the Fallen! yippe!
anyways... getting to my point here.... i'm feeling just a wee bit better today. i gotta go back to the VA again and have my urine checked again. and check in with my chronic pain psychologist at 11 too. hopefully i AM getting better and i can get off these HORSE PILLS!
do antibiotics make you feel like your stuck in thick clay or hot mud? or make you feel sluggish? i can't remember how it made me feel before. or could it be the infection?

Fibromyalgia makes me feel like I'm stuck in the mud, but it's probably not helped by an infection, eh?

i still haven't gotten the results of my latest urine sample, but the doc will prolly call me later about it, if it's a concern.
