If you have black mold in your house, you do absolutely need to get it fixed for health reasons, but since this company sells mold remediation solutions, I'd be wary of any medical advice they give - they would love for you to call them based on an internet test, and desperation for an easy answer.

For the record, I know I have mold in my basement (we're working on it), but I could see all the lines as soon as I could get my trifocal to line up to the right level.

Bleach works well on mold.

So, I don't know about fibro specifically, but since we tend to be people with extra sensitivities to all sorts of weird things, I would suspect that mold could aggravate fibro. Of course, pollen, citrus, and the wrong kind of shampoo all aggravate my fibro, so it's not going out on a limb to suggest that something that causes irritation in people without fibro might cause even more in folks with it.

I was thinking the same thing about the company. The test is only dependent on your screen resolution and glasses strength, and the company is selling mold remediation on the Internet.

Can't imagine anyone ever paid for the test. Buyer beware.

I know that black mold is very dangerous, and I know that we are very sensitive. When we were house shopping we walked into a house that had it, and within minutes I could not breathe at all. I felt like my lungs were shutting down - and I don't have asthma.

We had it at our office and had to have professionals come in and remove it. I would say if you see or smell something suspicious in your home to get it checked out by a professional.... but not an online test.

I didn't use the website for mold, I used it for being exposed to neurotoxins. The manual test is likely more accurate but if you are having a problem seeing the lines you should probably look further into being exposed to neurotoxics.

I did the test in a doctor's office and it was positive but no online. It didn't tell me what neurotoxin I was being exposed to so it is limited. The neurotoxin I was being exposed to was gadolinium.

If you're having a problem seeing the lines just change your screen resolution.

I breathe and therefore I am exposed to toxins. I bathe, ditto. I eat, ditto. We are the victims of the Industrial Revolution and short sighted greed. I take what precautions I can, but I think the only way to avoid toxins entirely is to go find a bubble to live in.

that said, I found the online test unimpressive. Of course, my husband is friends with a guy who tests for all kinds of toxins in the home, and his evaluation was very detailed, thorough. So I am spoiled LOL.
