The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I am still behaving on my elimination diet:
No - eggs, dairy, wheat, soy, chocolate or bakers yeast.
All I have left is my sugar... and it is already hard to find things to eat.
The elimination diet has helped tremendously down to just 1 or 2 pain pills a day from 6 or so.
My body was a mess with the food allergies on top of the RA and suspected Fibro (not a firm diagnosis, but the Rheumie thinks I have this on top of the RA due to muscle pain and fatigue on top of the joint issues - yeah me)
Soon I will start the yeast free diet, probiotics, candida supplements of some sort that my allergist suggested and some acid supplement also.
I'll let you know if this helps when I get started on it.

I follow the anti-candida program in the book "The Fungus Link" by Doug Kaufman. I do not eat gluten, sugar, yeast, dairy (with the exception of greek yogurt). I use coconut flour, almond flour, and I also take an anti-fungal and a probiotic every day. I was on the anti-fungal nystatin, but am now on an herbal anti-fungal.
My daily pain levels are generally 1-3. I still have periodic flare-ups but I'm able to control them better and recover from them quickly. I even have days where I feel almost normal. My main issues now are with with regulating my sleep and eliminating stiffness.
I have a list of books that I can recommend to you when I get home. You can also message me anytime with any questions. Also, if you search for anti-candida diet, you should be able to find my previous posts on this subject.
I have done a great deal of research on this topic and have found that candida overgrowth can overlap with fibromyalgia. Many professionals even feel that if you have fibromyalgia you should be treated with anti-fungals and follow an anti-candida diet. Many fibromyalgia patients have found relief from embracing the anti-candida diet and taking anti-fungals.
Best Wishes!
