So, I finally got my divorce in September - yay. My ex is being a real jerk to put it politely re signing the quick deed to the house and getting his belongings out of the basement and garage. My lawyer has told me not to pay him 1/2 the equity until he signs it. Okay , is this ever going to end ?
So the whole mess has my fibro freaking. I am having a lot of stress , anger, and anxiety. I went out this afternoon and raked the leaves in the front yard - I raked the crap out out of those leaves trying to get some of my anger out. So, now I am in even more pain. My anxiety is so bad I have to remind myself to breathe or I am going to have a panic attack. I get anxious easily since being diagnosed with fibro years ago, so something like this really puts me in a mess.
I just took a Xanax - so hopefully I can prevent a full blown panic attack.
I dont like feeling like this - I want to scream, cry, and hit something all at the same time.. I need to zen - hide under my blankets. BREATHE.

Life just sucks sometimes and we seem to get little support when we're hurting.

Vent away, Milily. We're here. I've got so much stress right now that if it weren't for PRN anxiety meds? Oh, it'd be reallllly nasty. (Nstier?)

I had a therapist give me a foam bat so I could hit things with it. None of this was good for my fibro though.
I finally found that writing a journal about what I was feeling helped me to get it out of my head.
Breathing is also very, very good. The other night I had to give myself a timeout, so I went and sat in my car and just breathed.
I hope things begin to get better for you...and listen to your lawyer.

Coming from a veteran of several bad relationships all you can do is take one day at a time and look forward to the day it is all done for one day (unfortunately that day wasn't last month) it will be. Let him be a pr*ck. By following your lawyer's advice, your ex will have to wait that much longer for his money. Wah! He is only hurting himself as they so often do.
Breathing is good for anxiety, mindfulness and or meditation as well. Theanine which is a supplement can be very good to calm nerves and you only need to take it when you need it. Learned about that at About.com (CFS/Fibo with Adrienne Dellwo who I can't recommend enough).
Also, do you have a pet or pet(s) for company? Granted they can sometimes add to a person's stress level sometimes yet overall they provide the best company and are very soothing to be around (as long as it isn't one of the yappy little dogs - can you tell I'm a cat person?).

My Ex is also to take over the debt of 2 credit cards ( they are all his expenses) and remove my name per the divorce papers . I don't see that happening either. I guess I will have to eventually take him to court regarding these issues. Like I said will this ever end?
