Hi everyone! Happy Aloha Friday!
I slept in today.... and I don't see a check in post so should I assume everyone else slept in, too??? lol
Being it's Aloha Friday, are you all wearing your aloha shirts today? ;)
I started looking at storage facilities during the week and found one I think I can settle on. But the hubster wants us to wait till next month. We bought some bins the other day so today I plan on packing some things in (that we are keeping) while making a pile for the stuff we aren't keeping. OUr living room looks like a heap if a mess right now. Joy. I think I might run a few errands later, too. We'll see.
A handful of Marines I served with have been getting married suddenly. So I have been sending gifts out to the ones I couldn't make it to and still have one more coming up in May. My youngest bro found a girl he plans to marry and the other brother (the trouble causing one) is trying to move his Filipino "fiance" over from over seas. I'm calling 2013 the year of love. lol

I swear, sitting here in MN in this frozen state, the word aloha is magical!
I've been flopping around day. Playing the sick kid game, cleaning the house, you know...stuff. Nothing glamorous, just stuff. Maybe it would sound more interested if I called it aloha stuff!
Maybe instead of just chicken for dinner, I'll make aloha chicken. See, it just sounds better!
It's just been one of those kinds of weeks this past week. I'm so happy today is Friday!
So I got suckered into hosting Easter this year. My mom was going to have it up until yesterday. When she decided she was taking on too much with her house (she's trying to demo her bathroom - not enough time).
I've spent most of today coming up with a menu and my plan of attack to spring clean. I think my plan is fool, I mean Fibro proof. But if not, I have some wine being delivered. Don't know why it's taken me so long to figure out that a small glass of wine helps me to relax. But I may be cracking open a bottle or two before Easter.
Blue, maybe I should send you some wine too? There are two great things in this world for packing stuff away. Totes and space bags!
Oh and it's the year of babies too. I know of 5 pregnancies so far and honestly, I don't get out that much. But 5 people I know directly are gonna be toting around little gooey babies soon. I so adore babies.
Well I better go feed the natives, they're getting a little restless out there!

We have had the grandchildren since early this morning. I love them more than anything but was glad when they went home. I am pooped.
I like the short history and it sounds true to me.
Wonder, you enjoy that glass a wine. You deserve two or three glasses, what they hech chug it straight from the bottle. Lol
