Was doing some research for low cost medications and found several options, thought I might as well post them as a resource:
www.pparx.com - access to over 400 drug assistance programs. No registration necessary. Good for brand name drugs that u can't get generic (like cymbalta).
internetdrugcoupons.com - lists saving and coupons for various drugs including non-prescription (like ibprofen).
Target and Fred Meyer (or Krogers) - both have some generic drugs for $4 or $5. You can get a list of the drugs at target.com. Target has an easier website than Fred Meyer.

Each page (for each medication) offers information on the manufacturer and who qualifies.
But my biggest advice to you is if you fall into the category of not meeting their qualifications, then call the 800# listed for the company and see if they would offer you a free fill coupon or two. For some meds, that is like saving $$$hundreds! And that is $$$hundreds saved for the year!
Never be afraid to ask. These manufacturers know that if you need 'their medication' and there is competition...then they will more than likely get you some free. I've seen it happen many times back when I worked for a pharmacy benefits management company.
Some of those clearing house types will only help if you've not got insurance. I did try some of those in the past. We have five children. One has asthma, others have other chronic problems with scripts. ugh! It SURE adds up!
