Sounds like sinus infection. I take Sudafed and mucinex to keep from getting sins infections but still allergies can get bad.

I've had problems on and off in the last year with mouth/jaw/ear pain, although mine maybe be from teeth? Really not sure because this has been fairly new. I've had toothaches in the past without having these other issues hence the reason I'm unsure. I'm so sorry that you haven't been feeling well....it sounds kind of intense, even for fibromyalgia. Willfor sure be hoping that you start to get some relief soon. Sending healing energy and warm, soft hugs sent your way.

It definitely sounds like sinus infection. Talk to your doctor or nurse to see if you can get on something stronger. I get bad sinus infections once or twice a year (I have severe allergies) and it usually takes at least two different antibiotics--and occasionally a steroid-- to finally get it cleared up. Definitely take Mucinex to keep the mucous thin and maybe try Netti Pot or at least saline nose spray to keep membranes from drying out and to wash out allergens.

I remember something I went thru. A reg dr kept saying I had sinus infection because of facial pain and fluid in ears. I knew there was no way I could have one after another.

I went to an ent had a catscan no sinus infection. Dr insisted I did again so I saw her in the morning, she dxed sinus infection. I already had it planned out and afterwards I went to an ent, the reg dr didn't know about.

This time.same day a few hrs later I had a cat scan with dye no sinus infection. I started having more facial pain and went to my dentist and endodontist and nothing.

The pain went away and came back with a vegenance in one cheek.
I realiZed it was brought on by me Crocheting and hunching up my left shoulder, I try very hard to make sure I don't know or sleep with my left arm up.

I read about myofacial in our back can cause these pains,myofacial does turn Into fibre

If you keep having the same symptoms like I did and dr. Keeps giving you antibiotics, beware.

Try watching your shoulders and neck muscles. Massage the one that goes from behind the ear and down.

It took myself researching and reading to what was causing mine.

I still take my Sudafed and muscinex when allergies act up.

Milily, when I have sinus infection, it will hurt when I lightly tap around my orbital sockets. Also, my sinuses get so swollen that I can't blow out any of the congestion so I remain stopped up. I also have prescription Nasonex spray to use for the swelling. However, it's a steroid and since I'm diabetic it makes my glucose numbers go up.

I'm curious about something. If we have an infection anywhere in our bodies, would it show up in a blood test?

Joysis yes any infection in the body shows increased white blood cells= the germ fighter cells.

I use Melatonin or Sleepy kinds of herbal teas like Camomile, etc. or hot bath with Epsom Salts= (mine has Eucalyptus in it), or I sit on my padded shower chair put the plug in shower and soak. Every night I listen to a meditation disc with 4 meditations usually asleep before last one. Sleep more soundly when stressors are gone doing relaxing visualization deep breathing, meditation! Make sure your room is dark and quiet I use ear plugs. Slow, easy stretching exercises loosen taut, tense muscles Also temperature is not too hot or cold. An air purifier gets all the dust you miss so you breathe better too! Hot or cold packs help or a T.E.N.S. machine. I hope this helps.

Still feel awful . I can't get in to see my Dr until this Friday - so I may go back to the immediate care. Maybe amoxicillin just isn't strong enough for what I have going on.
