I don't get eye pain, but I get extremely dry eyes. Sometimes they feel as though there was sandpaper in there rubbing against my eyeball.

Yes thats what it feels like but it also burns and sometime sharp pain Glad I am not alone

I get dry eyes as well and I have to use those natural tear drops. I've had Iritis in my left eye and let me tell you that's a killer. And for those who don't know what it is it is Arthitis of the Eye.

I thought I answered this post before, maybe not or it got deleted.

Anyway I asked this on the main board and someone sent me a link about what is causing my eye pain, There is a muscle at the base of our skull. WHen I touch there at times its very tender and sore, THis muscle I think its called the occilliptal < thats not right> anyway it causes eye pain also.

For a year I have has stabbing eye pain. Like a hot knife. My pain Dr. said he has many Fibro pts. with this same eye pain.

I get eye pain -- and I have TMJ -- which is a misalignment of the jaw. The TMJ, they tell me, causes generalized pain in the face and head.

My eye doctor says it is part of the fibro cause of the fact there are muscles in the eye that can get tired like rest of body.

i been having some problem with my right eye also, but i think it is the caterract. the dr last yr had said that i have the beginning of one!! this past 2weeksit has been giving me alot of pain& feels like something is in the eye. got to get to the dr soon. they say we should get our eyes cheched every 6 months with the fibro.. it really effect it..
i also, get the dry eyes too!!

I have the dry eye to also mouth. It is from sjogrens though. Don't have the pain though just like sandpaper at times. I cannot read a book can only get through a few paragraphs. hugs to all

I should be getting my eyes checked every six months because I really notice the difference when we get to Florida it becomes harder for me to read things but I have to waite untill I get back to Canada to have them re-checked. This time due to my allergies and sinus infections because of wearing glasses and even though I know we are not suppose to I am getting contacts. It will just mean I will have to put more drops in than I do now. I have used them before and yes it can be a pain in the butt at times but at least I won't be getting so many sinus infections and having to take meds for them and then try dealing with the side effects od the meds.

i get watery eyes dry eyes eye cramps headaches around the eyes blurry eyes pain in eye muscle when i move them sharp pain somtimes aching others
