I was told by my doctor that my fibro could be getting worse due to my Bi-Polar getting worse as i get older. I was wondering if any of you guys have heard the samething from your docs.

Fibro isn't thought to be a progressive disease. Other illnesses such as arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (fusing of the spine), Degenerating discs, etc. can get worse over time just due to wear and tear, injury, movement, lack of movement etc. I also haven't heard that Bi-polar gets worse as you get older but don't know that much about the disorder. I do think that your pain and fatigue can get worse if you have a vitamin deficiency, not doing any kind of treatment (drug or natural), have a higher amount of stress, improper bed, office chair or sofa, not doing some kind of exercise program etc. Best thing we can do is just to get checked for everything and anything (sleep disorders, foot problems, allergy testing, viral testing, vitamin deficiencies) to help combat some of the symptoms of Fibro.

Yes I agree I have just recently had a full span of blood work done all levels came out normal. I think what the doctor ment was that as i get older my symptoms from my Bi-polar get worse but as they get worse my pain as also gotten worse i believe thats why she is thinking that there maybe some sort of connection.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
