So sorry you're dealing with this and at such a young age! Sounds like it could be PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) but there are traits besides ovarian cysts associated with this (not sure if you have those). thank you so much for replying ! we dont have insurance and so i think i have to wait til the 21st. idk but i told my mom but this doesnt seem like an emergency to her enough to take me to the er

i had similar issues. my ovarian cysts started at 9 and by the time i was 13 i had made an ER trip with a ruptured one. they are definitely not pleasant! that is for sure! i also suffered from very heavy periods that could last weeks. what it all boiled down to was crazy hormones causing lots of issues. if you are not on birth control yet, get on some! it will help stabilize your hormones and will help with your periods and with the cysts.

If it was PCOS then the ultrasound would probably have picked it up. Functional cysts are formed when you ovulate and most women get them and most don't even know they have them as there is no pain. Rupturing cysts can cause A LOT of pain. Normally cysts don't cause pain at all. But I have just came out of hospital after having my 3rd cyst removed by surgery because I was in so much pain. I have also noticed that when i have them, I don't have periods. But after the first one I had bleeding for a month and a half after.
Ask your doctor about going on the contraceptive pill or the IUD, they often help. I was told about a treatment called Prostap which stops you ovulating So stops cysts forming.

i did the same i got my ovary taken out an they also did a d&c and it has helped alot
