Really my question is do i HAVE to do them to keep a man? I know it depends on the individual, some can't do without them some may be okay with it. I've never done it and i've also never been married or lived with a guy. Had boyfriends obviously and my last one was okay with me not doing it, but we never moved on with moving in etc and i'm starting to wonder if the reason i'm still single is simply because i don't do blow jobs, but it sounds so silly! I'll do other things, just really don't want to put it in my mouth and the thought of coming in my mouth is just vile, can't understand how any woman could enjoy it. I have a friend who loves doing it, says it turns her on to see them coming and i can kinda understand that. Also, i know i don't know if i'd like it if i've never done it. So many questions. I'm just starting to be afraid that unless i start doing it i'll be on my own forever!

No, you don't have to do it to keep a guy.

No one who loves you would demand that you do something you find abhorrent. Demanding that's abuse.

Love is about compromise, giving and taking. But, when you feel strongly about something like that, it's not up for compromise. It's a hard limit for you. Any guy who truly loves, values and respects you, and wants you for who you are, should accept that.

(And I'm saying this as a guy)

never do anything you dont want to....i do agree it depends on the guy some say its a real deal breaker....and i think its great you tell them up front that is the best way.....it is something i like to do but its not for everyone.....im sure you can please your bf in other ways...if they leave because of that they are not worth it anyway...good luck...

I used to think blow jobs were disgusting and I hated giving them and usually tried to avoid it, all together. But I've found, when you really love someone and it makes them happy, it becomes sexy to you, too. I couldn't give one to just any guy, but I could to my partner.

But I will say that I HAVE outright said no to a guy, and maybe he was disappointed in the moment, but he still wanted to keep seeing me, just the same. We didn't work out, in the end, but I am positive it had nothing to do with blow jobs.

My husband is the only one I have ever given a blow job to. Girls in high school, with them it was all the rage. I could never see myself doing that without a committed relationship.

I do believe my husband would go elsewhere if he didn't get them at home. But I do enjoy them. I enjoy the pleasure he gets from the pleasure I give him.

I am sure there are plenty of men out there that don't need blowjobs.
