For the last 1.5 years, nearly every time I have sex I get a bladder infection after. I do everything the doctors tell me, pee immediately after intercourse, make sure everything is clean (I shower after every time, sometimes even before as well). I drink a lot of water and I take cranberry pills. I am getting so tired of this. I can't just go to the pharmacy and get some antibiotics, no, i have to make a urine sample for the doctors, and sometimes I don't get a prescription until the day after, since they want to know which bacteria it is, which is understandable, however sometimes it hurts so much. Some times I can barely feel it, which makes me paranoid about whether I actually got an infection or not. It is actually driving me insane. Has anyone else had this problem? My aunt did when she was my age, and she told me to drink a special type of tea, which I also do, but it doesn't seem to help so much. Any help or advice would be great!
