Family Issues Support Group
Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. Whether you feel you are in a dysfunctional family or you're dealing with a very specific issue, this is the place to talk about it and find others who might be going through the same thing.
My husband's currently deployed and I'm having major issues with my in-laws. I recently had a baby right before Christmas and at the time I was living with my in-laws. The situation was unhealthy and overall, not an ideal home for my newborn daughter. So, I moved in with my parents in North Carolina. My mother-in-law got very upset to the point she was screaming and yelling at me as I was packing my belongings up to move out. She constantly accused my mother of whispering in my ear and pushing me to move out. Overall, my mother-in-law was taking things out of hand and throwing a huge tantrum because she wasn't going to see her granddaughter everyday and my mother was going too. She constantly described it as "unfair", but it wasn't an issue when she was the one seeing her everyday. Now it's gotten to the point I can't stand her and I don't make trips to Virignia to see anyone now out of fear of fighting more with her. My husband comes home soon and I'm anxious to be seeing his family more once he is home and I'm not sure how to handle the situation if things get out of hand once I start coming around again.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

might find a counselor there that can help you cope with mother-in-law.
I think people should always take care of 'their own' families
It may feel a bit awkward for a while but when you see her again I would just be polite and I think once things calm down hopefully some normalcy can return
If your husband is deployed this may be a huge stressor that she's reacting to?? Possibly?
Big hug..... I'm glad your husband is coming home soon.....xo
Thank you. I can't wait to have my family back together!
