My daughter has written this to me. 


"Robin, Our relationship is over. Please do not reach out to me again. If I must see you, I have nothing to say to you. My emails will not accept your emails any longer. "

 

I simply can't keep putting myself in the line of fire. I've written a few times about this but it's really wearing me down. My husband keeps attacking me over this because he wants to go to family functions where she is, but I can't and I won't any more.  It's not emotionally safe.  Anyway, is it normal for him to want to go over there without me?  Shouldn't he be standing with me, or saying, if my wife is not welcome neither am I?"  Also it is wrong for her to call me Robin.  I'm Mom, not Robin to her.  I've been considering calling her Susan her middle name, and if she says it's not her name, well neither is Robin my name to her!


Heartsick, and getting physically depleted, and depressed to the point where I can't eat, sleep, function.

I would but my husband's job closed down. We are living on savings and have no health insurance. Because it closed down we couldn't cobra.
