I'm sorry you have to go through so much all at once. Your son really needs to step up, help you out and start paying you back. I'm sorry about your uncles. Hope things get easier! (((HUGS)))

I'm sorry about all that you are going through, I know it can be really hard. But I think you really need to stand up to your son. Even though, I'm assuming he's 21 or over, if he's living with you and sounds like he's mooching off of you, you need to have some sort of rules. He should have to get a job if he's going to be living with you so he can at least start to pay you back some of the money he owes you, and he shouldn't drink too much. He's not making your life any easier and it's not fair for him to expect to still just keep on living off of you and not trying to pull his own weight, since he is after all an adult.

thank you all for the supportive messages. its making me a little stronger. its easy for me to say, but im dreading it. if he cant live by my rules, he will have to leave. that would be the hardest thing i will ever do. i have so much guilt because i let my kids do what they wnated. i wanted to be there freind. i was so terrified of my parents, i ran away all the time. he has an older son but they dont realy geta along. ive asked him for help, but pretty much everone exept me has had it and dont want to hear about it anymoore.. thats why i realy appreciate all the encouragement. i cant tell you how much it helps. its all up to me. i have to stand behind what i say. that has ALLWAYS been my bigest problum. ok, thanks sooo very much to everyone.ya know wene you see it in writing, it realy makes it moore real. and i know im not doing him any favors. oh he does have mental issues but will not see a doctor. and he gets all a,s and b,s in school. ok thanks agin so much. if i can hdlp anyone feel free to ask. i love this site.
