Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. I always feel guilty for feeling bad about my situation because there are people who are in worse situations. But I'm exhausted keeping everything in. I never met my father or his family and most of my mom's side don't live near us or have already past. Mom and my uncle hate eachother and that stinks for me because he's the closest. Mom is sick and even though my brothers are 21 and 24 I help the most. I just turned 16 and I'm exhausted. No one cares. All the do is argue, ignore eachother, or get mad at me for taking a side. When I don't they get mad. I'm just stuck and I want to be happy but it's so difficult. I stay "happy" for mom, I always smile. But I can't do it anymore.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Are there any resources perhaps available through your school? I know sometimes a good school counselor can be a little hit and miss, but he or she might be able to at least give you some information on where you can turn.
What about friends? Can you stay the night with a friend from time to time, just to get a little respite from the tense vibe in your home? Maybe doing something fun will also help lift your spirits a bit.
This will help you develop other things to focus on and may make you feel like you are able to contribute positively to things in your control. It was also provide an outlet for you to vent.
If you are in an abusive situation talk to your guidance counselor.
can help. A trusted friend's parents are another resource. Get involved with activities at school, spend as little time at home as possible. These are adult problems going on at home, You are just a child. It is not your job to solve them. Take care of yourself, be good to your mom, and don't engage - don't argue with your brothers.
You could perhaps write them both a letter telling them how much putting you in the middle of this 'fight' is hurting you and quashing your spirit.... You are the child and want to be able to allowed to love all of your family..... There could be thing going on that haven't been fully disclosed
I'm glad that you've found us..... Another hug......xo
I'm so sorry that you're going through such a difficult time.... Gentle hug.... I'm glad you have someone at school to vent to and find some support from......xo
