Family Issues Support Group
Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. Whether you feel you are in a dysfunctional family or you're dealing with a very specific issue, this is the place to talk about it and find others who might be going through the same thing.
The key is finding an adult who you can talk to. The internet is not the place to sort out something like this.
We can only advise you but ultimately it will be up to you to decide what you need to do for your future benefit. Your mother, from what you say here has some anger issues that she needs some help with.
There is nothing wrong with speaking to your guidance counselor at school. He/She is there to help you, not hurt you. If you talk to that person about all your fears, I'm sure there will be steps taken to protect you.
Keep us posted please; you sound like a very intelligent and thoughtful person. Also, keep in mind that most children can be a bit mean to each other; they're just children; and what matters most is what You think of Yourself.
Hugs,
PD
Don't be afraid to confront this problem. Your mom has problems and is taking them out on you. That is not right. Please get some help. If you don't trust the people at your school a church is a good choice.
I believe that your idea to graduate and liberate from your family issues is a good idea, smart attitude you have. Perhaps you may use this time to gather useful ideas and come up with a safe and sure master plan for retreat. At the present, no matter how much pressure follows your course, you must plan to retreat. It is just too difficult for you to continue living the part of a doormat. Please don't abandon your idea and look forward to rejoicing the time of your departure. I hope for a godly light to guide you to emotional safety zones.

Clever you to just pick that darn coat up, put it on her back, take her nasty comment and keep planning for that get away. She really needs sympathy and simply because she is still a mother. At some point, it is hopeful that she will see the damage she has done to your feelings, and then she may repent and see the light of forgiveness and understand. This idea you can store away within that tool box, the get away box, you know?
