Family Issues Support Group
Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. Whether you feel you are in a dysfunctional family or you're dealing with a very specific issue, this is the place to talk about it and find others who might be going through the same thing.
This time of year can be very stressful for us all. I hope we will all keep in mind that it is not about the presents or gifts but the expressions of love that count. If you don't have extra cash, give a card to someone and write a special promise to them that you intend to keep. Maybe you will babysit a few hours for them, or give them a massage, or promise to stop drinking. Do something that helps your entire family if you can. Gifts of love and good heath are, by far, the best gifts to give.
If people around you are suffering or upset about something - reach out to them. Let them know that you care, especially the old and the very young - they are the most vulnerable in our society. This is the time to remember those children and families who can't afford anything for Christmas or who don't have a place to live and have to rely on soup lines or homeless shelters. Make sure you are in a safe area and with other people, but try to drop off some of your extra blessings to charitable organizations.
Most of all, I wish you all much love, health, and happiness at Christmas, Hannukah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and throughout the New Year.

What does everyone hope that the New Year will bring for them?
In my case, one of my daughters has been estranged for many years, and I hope that by showing her constant love and support, that she will come back to us this year. In addition, I also hope to develop the motivation to work out more at the gym!
