Daughter's choice of mate is just ridiculous
Hello and thanks to admins/owners of this site for providing a free safe place to come to and share things.
So . . my 22-year-old daughter lives with me. She has Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, and some chronic anxiety and possibly depression. We intend to try getting her a disability advocate to see if we can get her on SSI Disability. When she has tried to work in the past it never lasted long because she just gets fatigued and ends up quitting. She is lesbian, but that's not a problem. About 5 weeks ago, she told me she'd met someone online and asked if the girl could come down from her home state and stay up to a week. I must have had some premonition because "Yes, as long as she doesn't try to move in on us. I don't want anymore of that". (I have supported Dtr + 1 more times than I care to tell, and made it clear this is not what I intend to do again). She scoffed at the notion of her moving in, like "Don't be ridiculous". The girl got a ride to our home and a month later I end up giving her a ride back to her home state, about 2 1/2 hours away. Seems every ride home she had lined up flaked on her so I took it upon myself to give this unemployed, broke young woman a ride home. Dtr wants to stay with her in her hometown awhile, but apparently there is no place for her to host my daughter so they wind up begging my ex and friend, (my dtr's dad) for a few hundred dollars to shack up in a motel there for a week. That's on him if he wants to give her the money to do that of course, and dtr did give me SOME gas money but I was supposed to be dropping them off and coming right home so that I wouldn't have to drive in the dark. Didn't happen- the motel room wasn't to be ready for another 3 1/2 hours so here I am driving them all around this town killing time waiting and this gf sat in the back seat not saying thank you one time and just acting as if she were somehow entitled to ride around on someone else's gas dime for 3 1/2 hours. Also of concern was that this was her home town, yet she had no place we could just go hang out until the motel room was ready. That was odd to me. We went by what she said was her dad's home to get her dog. She had been saying he was reluctantly keeping the dog for her while she had her free vacation in my home and that she had concerns about him possibly abusing the dog. So riding around spending all this gas money, her not even saying thanks and as much as I love animals, the dog was not doing well in this set of circumstances. Understandably the poor beast was very restless and tried to climb up in the front seat on multiple occasions. Finally the motel room is ready, I drop them off and can't afford a room for myself so I had to drive home in the dark, something I'd been trying to avoid.
Fast forward a couple of days, my daughter announes she is marrying this gal whom she has only known 5 weeks. I told her they will NOT be living under my roof, that I cannot and will not support 2 adults. Supporting my daughter who is unable to work is one thing but this girl who laid up in my home and didn't even pick up after herself or offer to do a single chore wasn't even nice to me after she took so much advantage of me and did not even ASK me if she were to marry my daughter, could they live in my home together. I asked Dtr what on earth are you going to do if you get married, neither of you has a home, a car (my dtr doesn't even drive) and no jobs!! She said "We'll figure it out". I think she has lost her mind. Normally she is a sensible kid but has fallen for this ridiculous individual, whose lies include such laughable things as "My fists are registered weapons in some states because of my street fighting history". I could actually tell my dtr didn't even believe this baloney! So what the heck?!
Now I am the big meanie, heartless, down on romance and even "anti gay" because I have told them I will not take that unemployed, lazy, no-transportation-having, RUDE girl in even if she marries my daughter. She is obviously just looking for a meal ticket and a free place to stay and doesn't even know how to go about it in a respectful manner. Also of note, while staying here she had a beer can in her hand at all times at my ex's expense- she tells him she needs money for something and he tends to cave. The girl also drank all of my wine that I had for myself to possibly enjoy on my day off and neither girl asked me. She admitted to past addiction to pain killers and my dtr actually got hooked on heroin as a teen and had to go to rehab twice. She has been clean for years and if this girl gets my dtr on dope again I feel like I'll kill her. I told dtr after all this heated exchange that this girl is not to even visit my home. I worry now she will manage to find a way here and sneak into my home and I'll have to deal with the stress and embarrassment of asking a police officer to help me get her out. She has Satan worship crap all over her social media, which is a bunch of immature BS, looks about like something an emo 12-year-old would come up with- anything to shock and dismay the adults you know.
Advice, words of wisdom, thoughts, all welcome. Thanks for reading.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I think your daughter needs to grow up and to continue to,rescue her is crippling her...she's continuing to want to rely on you and her father
I would tell hee no more...it's time that she stand on her own 2 feet
If she ends up in a shelter they will help her to get to the next place
Sometimes we have to hit bottom before all we can see is up...big hug...xo
I did pick my daughter up from the other state with no drama, although she hardly spoke to me the whole ride. I still worry I'm going to come home and find that girl here and will have the drama of throwing her out.
Thanks again
