Family Issues Support Group
Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. Whether you feel you are in a dysfunctional family or you're dealing with a very specific issue, this is the place to talk about it and find others who might be going through the same thing.
If he's going down, he's going down. Don't let him take you with him. If you've got a stable home, then he'll at least have a place to come back to for holidays or emergencies (as long as he's not abusive).
If you're worried about him ending up homeless, you can call social workers now and find out what services are available, what it would take to qualify, and if there are waiting lists.
Sometimes knowledge is the best way to deal with anxiety.

Patti
Brother was in subsidized apartment. Lost it. Mom called agencies. Years long waiting list to get back in another apartment.
She did sign home over to brother when she dies. She is being sued. Long story. Afriaid they will take most of her money. She is also rigid. Brother must be able to live in house when she dies. She keeps calling me all upset. Someone is handeling the case for her. But she she keeps involving me. Or trying to. Its very hardto listen to her very upset voice.

I'm just trying to say that don't help "too" much. Because you have to stay strong.
Like the advice in an airplane to put on your own oxygen first. Because you can't help anyone else if you pass you yourself.
I can tell that you care. And that you'd do anything that you knew to help. If I had advice on how to fix it with her, I'd help. But I'm clueless.
So my advice to you is to do something nice for yourself everyday. Take time to be grateful for what you have. To find peace for a few minutes.
I don't know what more to say, but you have my complete support.
