Family Issues Support Group
Family issues is a huge range that go from minor conflict to major misbehaviour and even abuse on the part of individual members of the family occur. Whether you feel you are in a dysfunctional family or you're dealing with a very specific issue, this is the place to talk about it and find others who might be going through the same thing.

If you were abused as a child, and are now are separated from the circumstances of your abuse, but continue to suffer from unpleasant memories, flashbacks, nightmares, post-traumatic stress disorder, have difficulty functioning in society, feel alone and friendless, feel 'different' from everyone else and have trouble fitting in, are living in poverty, sometimes wonder if you are human at all, or are experiencing other difficulties stemming from abuse, neglect, abandonment, torture, verbal abuse, physical abuse, etc., that occurred during your childhood or teenage years, you are invited to join this group.

Some comments I recall:
1. We think more of the dogs than we do of you.
2. (while watching a Jerry Lewis Telathon) "those kids make more effort with every step than you do all week"
3. while doing math homework and making a mistake.: I said "everyone makes mistakes" My father answered "Yes, but especially YOU"
And they wondered why I never went home unless I had to once I moved out.
