It's difficult to find a safe place to talk about caring for a loved one with cancer, and so this group serves as an open forum to foster positivity and support for those going through this tough time.

Two daughters at the same time

Both of my daughters (fraternal twins) have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer (within weeks of each other). Anyone else in a similar situation? I am feeling a little overwhelmed.

Both of my parents had cancer simultaneously... I will never forget one day when I was running between my mom's chemotherapy treatment and dad's lung biopsy on opposite ends of the hospital. I can imagine that it must be even more difficult if it involves your children.

If there is a positive side to this, think of what outstanding sources of support they will be for each other. One of the hardest things for cancer patients is the feeling that "no one understands what I'm going through." Your daughters will understand each other's situation very well.
