I am a fellow Bipolar member and also am in grad school. I am trying to prove that if we women (specifically but can be men) with Bipolar have a better quality of life (such as feeling wanted or loved, having energy, a reduced stigma) can help reduce the depression and suicidal thoughts.... what do you think?

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

If you are sick you may not feel loved however much you actually are. As we say "the disease lies".
I don't think many people who are suicidal think about stigma. When they post on the crisis board they don't mention it. I've never considered it in my darker moments.
Having energy can be a sign of mixed state which is the most dangerous of all states.
Maybe ask on the BP board as we are the only ones that can truely know?
she couldn't help herself out of the hole without meds. just my opinion. I don't know if love would have helped her out of that black hole
