So be assured, it's not much fun for those who have BP either. One of the commonest comments is being tired of it which probably accounts for the 20% suicide rate.
Meds and a healthy lifestyle seem to offer the best chance to get off the ride, but even so there may be many times when the effects can be felt.
Whatever it is always easier with an understanding partner as a fellow passenger.
Thank you for flying with BP airlines.
thanks curious, I always wanted to chat with you!!!!
Claim, lamictal is a mood stabilizer but it is perhaps less good on the elevated side, lithium is better in that regard. If he is not generally depressed but hypomanic then it might be good to seek a medication review. They don't always work 100% and sometimes they stop working so it is a good idea to monitor them. He may not want to do that though.
Generally he's ok.....it's just the money thing!!!
As I've said again and again if someone is bipolar not everything is down to that, even if it is one of the classic symptoms.
If there are other symptoms then we are saying he is almost permanently episodic and that means the meds need tweaking.
Insufficient control of elevated mood can lead to escalation of BP, including shifting from BP2 to BP1. I don't suppose he would be too keen on having hallucinations, delusions and being carted off to hospital regularly by the police.
Yes, hopefully next flight will be dinner........but no wine....hehehhe,
You guys are great.
Hugs, Nan
