This community is dedicated to parents, siblings, grandparents, other relatives and friends of someone who is Bipolar. The purpose of this community is to help families and friends develop greater patience and understanding, as well as maintain a positive, caring relationships with those diagnosed as Bipolar.
I really do not think he will listen to anything you say as he is targeting you. In his mind right now, this seems all real to him.
The only thing I could suggest is to have him speak to someone he does trust - family - a friend - but YOU need to talk to this person first so that after their conversation, he will agree to go to a pdoc and get real help. Of course, this may backfire and he may turn against this friend or family member.
See, it is very difficult when in mania, which it seems he is in. He is reading too much into the tone of voice, the words used, the facial expressions, etc. In that state, thoughts become reality. The only truth is in his mind...
