My girlfriend who i have been dating for the past 7 months , broke up with me because of depression , it was so sudden, one day she invited me over to her place and said she coukd not handle dealing with her depression and having me in her life and also she has a son from a previous relationship and she is going through a rough patch , i truly love her and i have done some research and it all says not to contact her for 30 days ....but i don't know if it will make it seem like i dont care about her anymore i am comfused in what to do

Hi there Black. I know exactly how you feel. I have pretty much the exact same thing with my girlfriend. If you truly love her hang in there and be patient. Honestly No Contact works wonders. Depending on how many times you guys have broken up and been back together depends on how long it will take her to contact you. Something I read about bi polar and depression is when they are struggling to even take a shower, we actually rank lower than that. It's not that she doesn't care about you or love you. The depression episode is just too much and adding the extra thing of a relationship is just more than they can handle (this is just all my experience and what I've read and what my therapist has told me). How long has the breakup been?

Why do they say not to contact them for 30 days? My boyfriend of 8 months just left me after we lived together for one month. He went back to his ex. I just don't understand what to do or think

I don't understand or know what to think either. I've been going through this since December 2015 when she really got sick and she has been struggling since. She's been going through medication changes and nothing has been working. I know she is tired of it and wants to get better. Her Dr's are now thinking ECT. That scares us both. I don't blame how it is scaring her but I know I want her to get better and I know she wants to get better.

OMG I feel you. today I started thinking about my ex. I was doing so good on letting it go, and moving forward and focusing my my self and doing my work and then out of the blue he popped in my head and suddenly I am really missing him. My ex left me too out of the blue. told me he didn't love me and he was unhappy. I was so sad, I never been so sad in my life. I did a lot of research and even though he is medicated any adjustment of medication to bring on something. I am just studying and oding my own thing, I miss him all the time and sometimes I really wish he would text me or tell me he is okay. My ex acted like he was over me in second, and it was most heartbreaking thing I have experienced. give him the space my ex said two months and then we could talk. its been two months but I dont know what I would say to him. give youself the 30 days its going to BE HARD TRUST ME. but it will be worth it. PAINFUL but worth it.
