I am very sorry for what you are going through. I can understand through what you wrote that it is very hard for you. I personally think you should cut ties with your mother and only go check in on her a couple times a year. There is no reason to be in contact with someone that time and time again refuses to seek help or treatment. It is only emotionally draining you and increasing your possible likelihood of developing a mental disorder. Moreover, I do not think it is healthy for your children to be near your mother for long periods of time; I feel like you might be exposing them to toxicity and mental disorders at a young age which may be detrimental to them in the long run. Love, you should focus on yourself and your own life; not on someone that doesn’t want your help.. you’ve done and are doing everythign you can do but there is no improvement after so so so many years so why keep pressing the gas pedal of a broken car, you know? Focus on yourself and your husband and your kids.. sending lots of love ❤️.
