I am not sure if my husband has bipolar. He goes days in a row where he is great. Then he has days in a row where he yells and screams and threatens to quit his job and leave me. He complains about everything and everything is my fault. Today he was yelling and screaming and banging his hands against the wall. It was almost like he was having a temper tantrum. I feel so sad. I have no self esteem. He makes me feel like I am crazy. I feel so lonely. Any advice would be appreciated.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

But whatever it is the impact on you would be the same.
Bipolar usually cycles over a longer period and you would expect to see the classic signs of bipolar, ie talking fast, lots of ideas, poor focus, not sleeping, taking risks.
You would also expect to see depression for periods - usually weeks.
Have you tried talking to him on the days when he is ok? About what is happening on those other days?
Don't go through this alone. Connect with people who can support you and help you deal with this. I've been in situations like what you describe - they don't get better if you do nothing.
Be safe above all!
very best,

Sounds like my BP husb. Has he held a job long term? No matter what the verbal abuse is torture so are you able to go to his doctor with him and mention the anger and threats? It should lead to an evaluation and treatment if needed. You could also write a list of concerns and the effects on your health and make your own appointment with his doctor if he/she will see you. If it is bipolar it neeeeds to be known and treated for all involved. Take care.
