It really makes communication easier for both parties. You can ignore the texts and emails. Delete them if they make no sense. That way he gets the satisfaction of sending you messages/emails and you can control what you read - don't read it if it is not relevant. He will never know. Everybody is happy.\Good luck
His is seeing a psychiatrist for years now, on meds, seeing a counselor regularly and is no better other than still functioning.
There is 0 communication no matter what is happening with our daughter or grandkids. I think only emails or texts is a very good idea and is the only way I try contacting him about anything important about our daughter. He responds to nothing. Maybe a part of his always present extreme nature. My BP seems completely oblivious to the hurt and harm he has done to me and my family. I try to remind myself that the BP hurtfulness will be directed to whoever is there or listening to relieve themselves. Please don't take it personally eventhough many times that is much easier said than done. Remember it is a diseased mind that is hurting you if you allow it....believe me I know this is so hard.
Mind knows that it is the BP that is hurtful and mean, but my heart always seems to get hurt anyway. You would think after all these years I could be numb to it
