Hey All !!

just a quick thank you for all the responses, helpful links, concerns ect about the Low facillity in Yazoo City, MS
where my son is incarcerated.

I had heard thru a 3rd party that power has finally been restored as of June 25th....(thats a full 10 days of miserable conditions...)

Anyway, hope to hear from my son tonight (Fri 6/27), and hear the true details.
I love the email response from the prison......so vague...and so untrue!...when it said like things like food & medical was been provided....what they didn't say was o yeah...one meal a day ( not hot)...i.e.-bologna sandwich at lunch...ect.
But, anyway, hopefully it will stay on thru the damn MS summer heat waves!
Again, my thanks and sincere gratitude for all of you posting & reposting helpful links, phone numbers, contacts, ect....BIG HUGS !!

I got the same generic email back when I asked them what was going on up there. I hope your source is accurate and that conditions are improving for everyone there.

Awesome! So glad to hear the power is back on. It is so hard when you have no control over what is happening with your child.

Jim, thanks so much for the update. I was wondering! I'm so glad they got their power back up in a much shorter time frame than originally predicted. Hopefully, this was due to the public outcry.

Glad to hear power is back on. Hope you heard from your son and he is doing okay.
I agree with FaithFlower, it's very difficult when you have no control over what is going on with your child.
